Release Notes for Version 2.3.0

NEW: Overhauled appearance – Brand new look for the website.
NEW: Cookie Notice – Enables a notice to new visitors about the use of cookies to help keep in compliance with GDPR. Also combines with a notice that use of the site serves as an agreement to the Privacy Policy and the Legal & Copyright pages.
FIX: Changes “Social Media Highlights” to “Twitter Highlights”.
FIX: Also changes the Twitter embed to a light theme. It also now adapts to the users screen.
FIX: Updates the Header and Footer links at both the top and bottom of the screen.
FIX: Moves the search bar to the top right hand corner of the screen.
NEW: Adaptable Header – The header will now resize itself based upon the user’s windows size. This will ensure all elements are accessible.
UPDATE: The terms on the Privacy Policy and Legal & Copyright pages have been updated.
NEW: Creative Commons – Now includes a Creative Commons License Embed in the footer of the page.
NEW: Meta Panel – Now includes a new widget in the footer of the page. This widget includes actions to Register, Login, etc.
FIX: Updates Website Version Number on Website Current Version Widget to 2.3.0
NEW: Blog Visual Enhancements – Changes the layout visuals to the blog page as well as other aesthetic improvements.

FIX: Redirects – Eliminates old redirect links. Changes the backend plugin used to achieve this.

FIX: Backend Cloudflare Speed Enhancements – Enables “Rocket Loader” in addition to other existing Cloudflare Optimizations, to optimize Javascript on the page. Enables “Early Hints” to help browsers preload assets from the webpage. Enables “Crawler Hints” to help keep the most up-to-date content available to search engines as they crawl the website. Enables “Always Online” so in the unlikely event the website goes down, The Internet Archive will serve an offline copy of the site.
FIX: Backend Cloudflare WAF Enhancements – Now blocks all traffic from Russia Federation until further notice. This rule will remain in effect until Russia makes the correct decision and stops the madness. Additional rules have been put into effect to help prevent malicious traffic and protect the WordPress backend.
